"The way we eat—and how we think about food—is an essential, often overlooked part of how we live."

eat.food.live is a chef-driven food practice rooted in the belief that how we eat shapes how we live. Through thoughtfully prepared meals, private dining experiences, and cooking education, we help people build a more intentional, connected relationship with food.
Led by Chef Wyatt Sandberg, everything we create is grounded in seasonal ingredients, careful sourcing, and a deep respect for both craft and community. Whether it’s a weekly meal, a shared table, or a moment in the kitchen, our goal is simple: to make eating well feel natural, meaningful, and part of everyday life.

Founder and Executive Chef of eat.food.live, Wyatt Sandberg currently serves as Head Chef at El Lopo, one of Eater SF’s “Top 10 Best Spanish Restaurants and Bars in San Francisco” for 2025. With a career rooted in some of the Bay Area’s most respected kitchens, Wyatt brings deep culinary curiosity and a passion for helping build community through every plate he serves.
Wyatt’s career includes his time as a saucier at the acclaimed Jardinière, where he built his skills in classical French cuisine. He has also served as a chef at Bi-Rite Market, while also honing his talents at celebrated establishments like State Bird Provisions, Bacar, Charles Chocolates, and Magnolia Smokestack. These diverse roles shaped his approach to food—thoughtful, flavorful, and always grounded in seasonality and place.
In 2020, Wyatt founded eat.food.live, a personal project aimed at helping people eat in alignment with their lifestyles, values, and daily realities. Through his unique approach to private catering, custom meal planning, and cooking classes offered across the San Francisco Bay Area, Wyatt empowers people to rediscover the joy of food and its valued place in life.
